Matt is a Filipino-American director & writer. He was born and raised in San Francisco and is a graduate of USC. Matt won Best Director & Best TV Comedy for Companion at the 2017 ITVFest, Catalyst Content Festival. Companion was nominated for Best Short Film of the Year at the 2018 Best of New Filmmakers LA Awards and an official selection of the television festival SeriesFest: Season 4, where he received the Caz Matthews Grant for emerging filmmakers. Companion’s festival success secured the project meetings with HBO, Showtime, Complex and GQ.
Matt directed the dark comedy Kensington, which won Best TV Pilot at the 2019 SOHO International Film Festival in New York and Best of Fest at the 2020 First Glance Film Festival. Film Threat Magazine called it “…a love letter to Philadelphia.” In 2022, he directed the project Anything For You, a script he adapted from the play written by Cate Allen. It was an official selection of four Academy qualifying festivals. This spring he directed and produced the film The Ninth, set for release this fall. Matt is currently a fellow in the prestigious Warner Brothers Discovery/HBO Directing Program.
Matt wrote & directed for two seasons on the Comedy Central animated sketch show Triptank, directing Amy Schumer, Keegan Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Nat Faxon, Andrew Dice Clay, Cheech Marin, Pete Holmes, among others. As an actor, Matt has appeared on Grey’s Anatomy, General Hospital, CSI: Miami, Haunted, Agents of Shield, Secrets & Lies and the film Wilde Salome directed by Al Pacino. He will be in the upcoming feature film Hello Up There starring Chloe Bennett, Phil Dunster and Jennifer Beals. Matt can be heard weekly on the popular sports & pop culture podcast Beat LA with co-host Paul Ruehl.

Nick is a New York based writer/producer. He was a writer for two seasons on the show Triptank on Comedy Central, where he wrote sketches for the likes of Wayne Brady, Jordan Peele, David Herman, and Jill Talley. Along with writing, producing partner Matt Ferrucci, Nick was the creator of the hit web comedy show Real Men, Real Issues on the Babelgum Network. They recently wrote the action-comedy feature The Drop, which is shooting in Australia next year. He was also a co-producer on the award winning short films Kensington and Anything For You.
Nick started his career as an actor performing at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and in Off-Broadway and regional productions of The Norman Conquests, Pillow Talk, Macbeth, and The Rivals. Nick has appeared in national commercials for FedEx, Puma, and Honda and played the role of Malik in “The LOST Experience” on ABC.

Alain recently starred as a series regular on MARVEL’S HELSTROM and is currently a series regular on ABC’s STATION 19. That was preceded by his turn as Dr. Daniel Pet on the show THE PASSAGE on Fox. He was a series regular on Season 2 of TRUE DETECTIVE and has guest starred on THE MORNING SHOW on Apple TV, PARENTHOOD, and GRIMM. You can see Alain now in the lead role in Bao Tran’s hit feature film THE PAPER TIGERS on Netflix. The film is #10 on Rotten Tomatoes’ “Best Asian-American Movies of All-Time”.
Alain is also the founder and creative force behind the Los Angeles based production company, Them Too. Since its inception in 2008, Them Too has produced content for musical acts such as Avicii, DeadMau5, Steve Aoki, The Chainsmokers, and Calvin Harris. Alain has directed new media profiles, live events, and short docs for Pharell Williams, Questlove, Jay Z, Kanye, Drake, Travis Scott, Rev Run and comedian Jo Koy for Comedy Central. Them Too has created short form commercial narratives for established brands such as Perrier Jouet, Adidas, Levi’s, Stussy, MGM, and Aria.
